Dental Aligner Services & Options

Invisalign Clear Aligners

Invisalign is one of the most widely used clear aligner systems for orthodontic treatment. The system uses a series of custom transparent trays created through digital treatment planning. Each aligner stage gradually moves teeth into improved alignment while remaining nearly invisible when worn.

Many adults and teens who visit us prefer Invisalign because the trays are removable and comfortable compared with traditional braces. You can easily remove the aligners when eating or brushing and place them back in to continue the planned stages of tooth movement.

Clear Aligners for Crowded Teeth

Crowded teeth occur when there is not enough space in the jaw for teeth to align properly. Overlapping or twisted teeth can make brushing and flossing difficult and may increase the risk of plaque buildup.

Clear aligners gradually reposition crowded teeth by guiding them into better spacing. As alignment improves, oral hygiene becomes easier, and your smile appears more balanced.

Clear Aligners for Gaps Between Teeth

Spaces between teeth may develop due to natural jaw size differences, missing teeth, or tooth shifting over time. These gaps can trap food particles, making oral hygiene more difficult.

Clear aligners guide neighbouring teeth closer together through controlled orthodontic movement. As our treatment progresses, spacing decreases, and your smile becomes more evenly aligned.

Clear Aligners for Crooked Teeth

Crooked or rotated teeth occur when individual teeth grow at slight angles compared with surrounding teeth. These irregular positions may affect the way your teeth meet when biting or chewing.

Our orthodontic aligners gradually guide crooked teeth into straighter alignment through a sequence of transparent trays designed for staged tooth movement.

Clear Aligners for Overbite

An overbite occurs when the upper teeth overlap the lower teeth more than normal. Over time, this may contribute to uneven tooth wear or jaw discomfort.

Clear aligners can improve mild to moderate overbite concerns by gradually adjusting tooth position. Each aligner stage helps improve the relationship between the upper and lower teeth.

What Are Clear Aligners and How Do They Work

Clear aligners are transparent orthodontic trays used to gradually straighten teeth. Each aligner is created from digital impressions of the teeth and designed to apply controlled pressure that shifts teeth into better alignment over time.

Patients wear a sequence of clear plastic aligners, with each tray slightly different from the previous one. As the trays are replaced throughout treatment, teeth move in small, planned increments. Digital orthodontic planning systems, such as Invisalign, map these movements before treatment begins, allowing our dentist to guide teeth toward their ideal positions step by step.

Our Dental Aligner Treatment Process

Clear aligner treatment begins with a detailed evaluation of your teeth and bite alignment. Digital dental X-rays and three-dimensional scans allow the dentist to study tooth position and plan how each aligner tray will guide movement. Many patients can also see a digital preview that shows how their teeth are expected to shift during treatment.

Once the treatment plan is created, patients receive a series of custom, clear plastic aligner trays. Each tray is worn for a specific period before switching to the next stage. Some patients notice mild pressure during the first few days as the teeth begin adjusting to the new aligner.

Follow-up visits usually occur every six to eight weeks so the dentist can monitor progress and provide additional aligners. Most patients complete treatment within six to eighteen months, depending on how much tooth movement is required. After treatment, clear aligner retainers help maintain the new tooth alignment.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are dental braces or clear aligners better for kids and adults?

Traditional braces are often recommended for younger patients with complex orthodontic concerns. Clear aligners are commonly chosen by teens and adults with mild to moderate alignment issues who prefer a more discreet treatment option.

What are clear aligners made of?

Clear aligners are manufactured from a medical-grade thermoplastic material. This transparent plastic provides strength and flexibility while applying gentle pressure to guide tooth movement.

Can clear aligners fix crooked teeth?

Clear aligners can correct many alignment concerns, including crowding, spacing, and mild bite irregularities. More complex orthodontic conditions may require traditional braces or specialised orthodontic treatment.

How much do clear aligners cost?

Clear aligner treatment in Tucson typically ranges from $2,000 to $9,500, depending on the complexity of tooth movement and the number of aligner trays required. During a consultation, our dentist evaluates your teeth and bite to provide a more accurate treatment estimate.
