We Specialize In:
Cleanings
Dental Cleanings are quick and painless procedures. The American Dental Association recommends that you receive a dental cleaning once a year at the very least. More if you have a history of periodontal disease.
The first step in any dental cleaning is the physical exam. During the exam we will check for signs of gingivitis or any other potential concerns.Â
Cavity Restoration
Cavities are permanent damage to the hardened outer layer of the tooth known as the Enamel. Bacteria in your mouth works night and day to recycle bits of leftover food and convert it into plaque. When plaque sits on your teeth is then digested by other forms of bacteria leaving behind an acidic mixture. These acids will eat away at your enamel, creating cavities.
Fillings
Dental fillings are needed after discovery and treatment of cavities. Fillings cover and protect the weakened sections of the tooth. Preventing bacteria and plaque from causing serious infections. Furthermore, fillings provide additional strength to the tooth. Reducing the chance of chipping or cracking that can occur to teeth after even very minor cavities.
Root Canal
Root canal therapy is needed when the nerve of a tooth is affected by decay or infection. In order to save the tooth, the pulp (the living tissue inside the tooth), nerves, bacteria, and any decay are removed and the resulting space is filled with special, medicated, dental materials, which restore the tooth to its full function.
Having a root canal done on a tooth is the treatment of choice to save a tooth that otherwise would die and have to be removed.
Crowns
Dental Crowns are essentially caps for damaged teeth. Crowns are used on teeth that are too heavily damaged for a simple filling. Such as large cavities, worn, or even broken teeth. Crowns are made of a variety of materials, though most commonly porcelain, and metal.Â
Bridges
A dental bridge is an alternative option to a full blown dental implant. Dental bridges are sections of fake teeth that replace missing sections of teeth. These fake teeth are attached to and held in place by crowns installed on either side.Â
Dental bridges result in much faster recovery times than the respective dental implants. As well as prevent the resultant problems with bite, jaw heath, and confidence that follow the loss of one or more teeth.
INSURANCE PLANS WE ACCEPT
For your convenience, we accept most insurance plans and are happy to fill out and submit your insurance claims. Please bring your dental insurance card, policy number, and completed insurance forms (if necessary) to your first appointment.
“
Called yesterday about a broken tooth, got an appt this morning, and I’m fixed up and out of there less than an hour later. That’s pretty incredible in today’s healthcare world, and I am very grateful to the staff and doctor at this office.
